BLOG: Obama Takes Pennsylvania

Both CNN and MSNBC are projecting that Pennsylvania will cast all 21 of its electoral votes for Sen. Barack Obama. Pennsylvania is one of the largest states in terms of electoral votes, and Sen. John McCain had targeted the state as a possible steal from the Democrats. Pennsylvania hasn’t voted for the Republican candidate in a presidential election since 1988.

As I reported earlier, Ohio and Pennsylvania are key to a McCain win. Losing the state puts a damper on his chances of victory and a loss in Ohio may be a death blow to the campaign.
