Many people voted early (CNN estimated more than 30 million), many out of fear of foul play or breakdowns at the polling places. CNN has set up a “Voter Hotline,” and they encourage those who have problems voting to call and have their voice heard.
As of about 9:45 a.m., the network reported that 22,000 people had already called to complain, many saying they had received calls, e-mails or text messages telling them that voting was postponed until Wednesday.
We’d like to remind our readers that no matter what anyone says, Election Day is TODAY and only today.
